Why do you ask for whole season commitment?
By committing to receive weekly boxes for the whole season the risks and rewards inherent to agriculture are shared. We are able to appropriately sow and harvest safe in the knowledge that nothing will go to waste and you share in the gluts when they occur!
What is in my box and can I change things?
Yes and no. The contents of the veg box is dependant on what is available to harvest that week. The aim is for this to include salad, greens, root vegetables and seasonal highlights. However, you will have the option to exclude 1-2 items by letting us know before midnight Tuesday for that Fridays box. We will replace these items with increased quantities of produce already in the box that week.

What if I am on holiday and don't need a box?
We love the idea of donating your box to a family member or friend to show them what they're missing, just let us know before midnight Tuesday and we will deliver it to their door! If you do want to pause your deliveries then please give us as much notice as possible (ideally 2 weeks)so we can adjust our harvests and make sure that no food goes to waste.

Is all the veg grown by Beardyman Farm?
Our aim is for the contents of the box to solely come from our fields, however there are times of the year where this may not be possible so we will source great quality organic produce as locally as possible. We will only include British produce, whilst this may limit variety at certain times of the year we feel that it is important to recognise and embrace seasonality and equally support our farmers.
Do I have to be at home for delivery?
No, we can leave your box in a designated spot for you. The shadier and cooler the better as salad leaves in particular will suffer in heat. If it's really hot we'd recommend leaving a cool box out.
Cancelling your membership
Whilst we would hate to see you leave we understand that circumstances can change and you may no longer want to receive our veg boxes. You can cancel at any time but please try to give us at least two weeks notice so that we can ensure nothing goes to waste. Either drop us an email or call Andy on 07500 949350.
